Author Robin Rice is the subject of today’s video on writing. She has three videos in which she offers tips from Al Zuckerman’s book “Writing the Blockbuster Novel.”

This book is not currently in print, but you can purchase it “used” from Amazon’s trusted booksellers starting at $.01 plus shipping, by clicking on my special link above. (See my Material Connections page here) It won’t make Mr. Zuckerman any money at this point, but it will make YOU a better writer if you apply his advice, which includes “applying the seat of the pants to the seat of your chair” and writing, writing, writing.

If you’re not into Irish humor when you view her second video (personally I like a bit o’ the blarney meself) skip forward about 49 seconds. The rest is pure writing inspiration, as is the third video in her series. She has other writing videos as well, and I encourage you to take the time today to view them, or to subscribe to her YouTube channel and check out her videos regularly.

Today’s article is short and sweet. Here is a link to a video of David M. Harris, who has taught English at Vanderbilt University and other schools. He has 10 videos in his series. Each is less than three minutes. Not all the videos relate to our Story Ideas topic, so feel free to pick and choose. Be sure to comment below to let me know if you want more writing videos.
