Story Ideas & Writer’s Block

Story Ideas and writer’s block are inextricably entwined. This article from the Simply Romance Reviews blog is by someone who knows your pain. Read on and you’ll never think you’re alone again.
For some, coming up with story ideas means having to decide which of all the ones that are whirling around in their heads will be the best one to focus on next. I’m not taking about them. I don’t get those people.
However, there are others for whom this process of writing a new story mean staring at a blank screen thinking I’m never going to write again, because I can’t think of anything worth writing about. Until, from somewhere a sentence pops, up or a character peeks through the office door, and the story takes its first breath.
