Writer’s Block – Bloggers Block and the Idea Vampires

Sometimes when keeping up with a blog, it seems as though idea vampires are out there sucking my brain dry. If you’ve ever felt this way, too, then this article from THINKing at my-creativeteam.com, is just the ticket.

With some minor tweaking, these same tips could be used for fiction story starters. I plan to blog about this in the future. Stay tuned.

Top 10 Story Starter Tips For Blocked Bloggers

…Mash-Up. One of my favorites is to take a subject that so clearly has nothing to do with another subject and meld them into a question. For instance, “what can we learn about social media from crocodiles?”… this makes you think about the topic differently.

…Talking Topics. OK, let’s say I’m writing about billboards. How would I feel if I were a billboard? What would I want to tell you about myself? Read entire article at my-creativeteam.com
